How the math works
- Future monthly expense — today's expenses grown by assumed inflation for the years until retirement.
- Required corpus — the future annual expense × 25, a common rule of thumb for retirement corpus size.
- Monthly SIP required — a reverse SIP calculation, working backward from the target corpus at the assumed return.
